AliDeck team enjoy a little seasonal fun with a dedicated aluminium decking and balcony component system Christmas marketing campaign
AliDeck is a business that is built on our manufacturing and product design expertise, producing the most complete and fully compliant system of aluminium decking and component systems for balconies, terraces and walkways in the UK. But there’s much more than this to AliDeck’s success and we deployed it to excellent effect this Christmas season.
The AliDeck marketing team is an absolute powerhouse unit in our business, responsible for deftly crafting and communicating our core messages to our customers. From developing the AliDeck website, to researching and writing in-depth industry articles, devising and executing campaigns, designing and producing high-quality print materials, creating detailed CGI art and animations, and a whole lot more, the AliDeck marketing department has got it covered.
Made up of a team of skilled practitioners, we decided to let them stretch their creative muscles for Christmas and deliver a comprehensive campaign that extended our brand identity, developed our corporate values, showcased our products and, most importantly, showed off our fun side. The results were second to none!
First up was the AliDeck Advent Calendar, a simple countdown to Christmas Day featuring some cute animated graphics set in our brand colours and accompanied by a reveal of an AliDeck product photo or render. Simple but effective, the Advent Calendar gave us a huge daily reach across all social media channels. Nice!
Christmas is, of course, a time for giving so we were very proud to participate in The Samaritans Christmas Shoe Box Appeal. This thoughtful charitable programme by The Samaritans is aimed at providing gifts to children in poorer parts of the world. The whole AliDeck team enjoyed donating a wide range of toys, clothes, books and sanitary products to be packed into shoeboxes ready for despatch to kids around the globe. We hope it helps to put some smiles on faces over the Christmas period.
Closer to home, our Digital Marketing Assistants Libby and Macey had a great time planning, shooting and editing a suite of “Meet The Team” videos. Featuring key people from each AliDeck department, these videos were intended to highlight to important work that each of our teams does in support of the AliDeck mission. Posted to all social channels across December, this video campaign generated a large amount of engagement and gave us a lot of reach and exposure, worth its weight in gold!
The fourth aspect of our Christmas campaign was aimed at getting our brand new, up-to-date brochure into as many hands as possible. Offering a “Golden Ticket” of a £50 Marks & Spencer voucher, throughout December all those who requested a digital or print brochure via our brochure website form was entered into a prize draw, with the lucky winner soon to be selected at random. Even for all those that don’t win, though, there’s the rather good consolation prize of having our lovingly produced AliDeck brochure close at hand!
Finally, we wanted to put James, our 3D/CGI Artist and Animator, to work in producing the “AliDeck Santa’s Workshop”! Situated atop a high-rise building festooned in AliDeck-adorned balconies, this amazing and highly imaginative workshop showcased Santa’s role in our manufacturing process, with AliDeck boards being dipped in vats of cost-effectiveness, fire-safety, and durability, before being blasted by confetti from trumpets, to being roasted in front of an open fire, and finally being packed into Santa’s AliDeck-branded sleigh! It is an absolute riot and a lot of fun, but is also crucially a great example of the inventive and creative in-house resource we have for product and technical visualisation.
So, there we have it, Christmas is here and the AliDeck Christmas Campaign is over. It was a lot of fun bringing it together and we hope that as you saw it all fall into place across social media you enjoyed it.
From the AliDeck team, we hope you have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!
