The versatility of our AliDeck Low Joist was well demonstrated in this stunning deck and steps project

It’s always great to see our aluminium metal decking products installed in projects but every now and again we see an installation that simply takes our breath away.

We recently dispatched a large quantity of AliDeck Senior Flat Boards and AliDeck Low Joists to a client who had some very grand ideas to completely overhaul his garden. Planning to install two large deck areas and connect them with a decked pathway, he had the issue of an elevated summer house to contend with. After some discussion with our design team, a solution was agreed on that involved building up steps and a terrace using a framework constructed from AliDeck Low Joists. The drawings looked impressive enough but seeing the final construction in-situ is simply awesome and provides a very good demonstration of the versatility and utility of our Joist systems. AliDeck manufacture three joists; our heavy-duty Supa Joist, our low-profile Low Joist and our cost-effective Lite Joist. All three joists have been designed to act as both support joists and poles, so this particular usage is very much a key feature of our joists. With a client happy to think outside the box to overcome challenges, the versatility of the Low Joist shone through and a stunning set of steps and raised terrace was the end result. And what a result! Our client is over the moon with his AliDeck aluminium decked terraces and steps and we’ll be visiting when his landscaping is finished to make a full portfolio piece on the project.
