BREAKING: RICS announce new EWS1 criteria

The leasehold housing market has been in turmoil since early 2020 due to the EWS1 scheme. With many thousands of homeowners trapped in unsellable, unmortgageable flats across the UK, a solution is desperately required.

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) recently held a consultation on the future of EWS1. As RICS issued new criteria on 8^th March, the implications could be huge.

AliDeck were featured in the pages of Specification, a leading architectural magazine. The article took a look at a recent project that we supplied aluminium decking to in order to resolve an EWS1 failure caused by flammable composite decking.
