AliDeck Creative Marketing Apprentice adds another string to her bow with videography, production of high-end videos now managed in-house
The AliDeck marketing machine has been a key component in the mix for the story of our success, working hard to get the narratives of our range of aluminium decking and balcony component systems out to the industry and stakeholders that are crying out for compliant solutions.
We have had a great deal of success and AliDeck is now positioned as the de facto market leader both in terms of penetration but also thought leadership, with many of our competitors emulating the in-depth approach we have taken to understanding the wider context that our product solutions are placed in, not least of all our work in highlighting EWS1 and the Building Safety Crisis as it pertains to balconies.
The way we have done this is by investing in our marketing team and we are proud of the second-to-none copywriting, photography, animation, graphic design and video production powerhouse that our marketing team is.
One of our key staff members is Macey, our Creative Marketing Apprentice. Macey joined us in 2021 to complete her apprenticeship and she has proven to be a real asset. Macey’s main responsibility has been handling video production, turning the animation assets that our 3D CGI Artist and Animator James produces into slickly edited marketing videos. You can see the fruits of Macey’s work all over our website and social media.
Recently, we invested in a new digital camera, a Canon 5D Mark III, in order to be able to capture our own high definition video and step our production up a level. Steve, our Head of Marketing, is a commercial photographer by trade, holding a BA degree in Photography, and his lens-based expertise has helped Macey quickly get to grips with this new equipment.
Macey’s first videography assignment was for our sister company, Milwood Group, to capture footage to produce a promotional video for the new Milwood Group’s Training Academy at their showroom in our new joint HQ in Rochester. A team of prospective Trade Partners were being shown the range of verandas, canopies, and carports that Milwood manufacture so it was really useful to be able to capture footage from a live setting to demonstrate this service that can be provided.
Macey did a great job and, coupled with some photographs taken at the same time, the end result is the following video;
Macey will be cutting her teeth in her new skillset over the coming weeks in the AliDeck factory as we enter major production on some large balustrade, decking and cladding orders, so watch this space for further videos!
