AliDeck Eco Friendly Waste Recycling New Bins

As part of our drive towards improving our environmental credentials, we’re pleased to introduce a new approach to managing waste generated at our headquarters in Rochester.

Our office team has grown in size across the last 18 months as our business has grown to become the market leader for aluminium decking in the UK. This growth in our team has caused a matching growth in waste, and we decided to tackle that.

By limiting the use of individual bins to prevent unnecessary waste, we have partnered with Midas Waste Management to install new bins throughout our offices. These new bins have clearly marked receptacles for general waste and recyclable material, so the task of ensuring that more of our office waste is recycled rather than sent to landfill is made much easier. Populated throughout our headquarters, these dedicated bins will ensure that all staff and visitors can easily locate their nearest recycling points.

Sustainability is at the heart of our products, and our head office. We’ve always been committed on making sure that we recycle, using up to 67% of recycled aluminium in our aluminium extrusions. With a life expectancy of 60 years our products are non-combustible and entirely future proof, offering decades of reliable service with near-zero maintenance required beyond simple cleaning.

We continue to look for new and improved ways to reduce our carbon footprint and reducing our impact on the environment. For now, we’re one step closer to being a greener business!
