Rapid growth for AliDeck as our aluminium decking has taken off demands expansion of facilities at HQ

Since AliDeck launched as a standalone brand in 2019, we’ve had a great time growing our business and developing our range of products to meet the needs of the construction industry. We’ve made a lot of friends and we’ve sold a lot of aluminium decking, for balconies, terraces, and walkways.

As we’ve grown our business over the last 18 months, we have also grown our AliDeck team, with expanded sales and warehouse departments and a dedicated in-house marketing department coming together to carry the load and move us forward in 2020. Even against the backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic, our enquiries and orders have risen month on month, underlining that we are supplying the right service and products to the market.

In response to the ever-growing demand for AliDeck aluminium decking, we are developing our facilities at our Rochester headquarters. As the base of our AliDeck operation, it is essential that our Rochester HQ is fit for purpose and gives us the space and scope to achieve what we want to.

Our warehouse and factory has recently been at or near to capacity as we’ve managed more and more bespoke orders for our customers, so we’re redesigning the space and our warehouse practices to more efficiently manage both stock and production. With the recent addition of experienced warehouseman Dan to the AliDeck team, the AliDeck factory is transforming into an even more well-oiled machine than it was!

An increasingly popular service we provide is hands-on experience with our products via the AliDeck Training Academy, and as the AliDeck range continues to become the de facto standard for aluminium balcony decking more and more tradesmen will be keen to take advantage of this service as they purchase our products.

Previously, we have run the Training Academy in the AliDeck warehouse, setting up an ad hoc space to demonstrate installation and usage. However, with the increasing pressure on the warehouse for production, we have realised that a dedicated space is required. So, we are building a two-storey extension within the factory that will house training and a showroom. Work began yesterday and lots of progress was made!
