AliDeck factory and warehouse a hive of activity as aluminium balcony component kit manufacturing continues at pace
It has been a busy week at AliDeck HQ, with a whole raft of production and manufacturing achieved.
One of our main ongoing tasks has been assembling balcony component kits for a steel fabricator customer. Destined for a new development in South West London, the balcony kits consist of our AliDeck aluminium decking system, our AliClad soffit cladding, and our AliRail vertical infill balustrade. Once on site, these will be simply fixed to the steel framework to complete each balcony for installation.
Our AliDeck, AliClad, and AliRail balcony component kits are our latest solution for construction, absolutely tailored to the requirements of steel fabricators and balcony manufacturers. Assembled and despatched in plot-specific kit form, this new approach to cantilever balcony production is proving revolutionary.
The marriage of steel and aluminium brings a host of benefits, not least of all the significant weight saving. Compared to 100% steel-constructed balconies, an aluminium and steel hybrid balcony can boast a greater than 50% weight saving. This light-weight solution can allow for new-build design to be totally transformed, the reduced load to the building enabling streamlining across the whole engineering of the project.
Our production team have been working hard to develop this new manufacturing process and we are seeing the effort pay off, with large numbers of balcony kits being completed each week. It has been a great team effort and we are proud to see our colleagues rise to the challenge.
