AliDeck are delighted to better serve architects by providing a RIBA-approved CPD on the benefits and legislation compliance of aluminium decking
As part of AliDeck’s continuing commitment to serve our trade partners in the best and most comprehensive way possible, we are delighted to announce that we now have a RIBA-approved CPD available for architects.
Titled “Fire Resistance Requirements for Balconies on Residential Buildings”, this CPD was developed alongside our sister company Able Canopies and will help you gain a greater understanding of; the Advice Note on Balconies and Residential Buildings that was issued 24th June 2019; the risks that arise from using flammable materials on balconies; how to help your future projects comply with UK legislation; and how to source products that are compliant, durable and high-quality.
Once you have been taken through that learning, the CPD will demonstrate a selection of AliDeck System products that are fully compliant with these regulations and are therefore ideal for specification on balcony, terrace and walkway elements of your upcoming projects. The AliDeck System is made up of non-combustible decking boards, joists, pedestals and accessories.
The CPD is online learning only so can be viewed and completed at your leisure at a time and place that suits you. Officially approved by RIBA, our CPD is an excellent tool for architects to increase their legislation knowledge, understand the compliant products available and satisfy their professional certification requirements.
