AliDeck Hosts NHBC Standards Team at Head Office & Warehouse Facility in Rochester, Kent, For a Product Overview and Compliance Session | Balcony Drainage Solutions

AliDeck recently hosted members of the NHBC Standards team at its head office and warehouse facility in Rochester, Kent to help further solidify our position as the leading manufacturer of Balcony Drainage solutions. The NHBC is the UK’s leading independent provider of warranty and insurance for new-built homes and is committed to raising standards in house building by championing high-quality homes and protecting homeowners.

The session took place in our training room which is set up for a truly immersive AliDeck experience. Filled with samples, we’re able to offer our guests a masterclass on the benefits of using our products, the unique design features, and the hassle-free installation they offer to support customer deadlines.

As part of the presentation, we discussed the various drainage options that can be found under our newest brand within the AliDeck family, AliDrain. These include our Deck Level Piped Drainage, also known as Positive Drainage, and includes our Dual Gutter Option and Wrap-Around Gutter system.

We also covered our Piped-Soffit Level Drainage and Soffit-Level Edged Drainage systems, two of the latest wall-mounted samples in our training room. All systems are designed to demonstrate the effectiveness of our drainage solutions.

The session was followed by an in-depth tour of our 65,000 sq. ft head office and warehouse facility including a closer look at our state of the art seven-stage pre-treatment powder coating line. On this tour, CEO Mark Wood was able to demonstrate our production line, which is entirely managed in house, allowing us to handle the huge demands placed upon us by our many loyal customers.

Following the success of the NHBC meeting, AliDeck hosted a webinar covering our latest Drainage & Fire Safety CPD. Focusing on Compliant Specification for BS 8579:2020; Guide to the design of balconies and terraces, and the latest NHBC standards for effectively controlled balcony drainage.
