AliDeck visit supplier BOAL Extrusions to gain further insight into the aluminium extrusion process
Several members of the AliDeck team recently took a visit to the BOAL Extrusions facility in Loughborough for a day filled with great opportunities to learn, including a new staff member gaining first hand to experience of the extrusion process. We were also fortunate to capture some incredible shots of the BOAL team at work.
Mark Wood, CEO and Founder of AliDeck, started AliDeck in 2019 following a surge in demand for our first-ever aluminium decking board, released in 2015. This resulted from a monumental shift within the industry post-Grenfell, as our innovative systems were deemed the ideal solution.
The demand that followed rapidly propelled the company to incredible heights in a matter of months, establishing ourselves as the leading UK-based manufacturer and supplier of aluminium decking boards and balcony components.
Amanda King, our new Stock Controller, was one of the AliDeck members to benefit from such an experience.

All of which gave an insight into how this process affects our ordering system.”
