The AliDeck aluminium decking system is a complete solution for all deck projects, on balconies, terraces, and walkways. Consisting of a range of decking boards, joists, and pedestals, the System’s inter-compatibility provides remarkable versatility and a solution for all requirements.
Our Low Joist is our most popular support bearer, specifically designed for installations that require long spans but limited build-up. With a 50mm profile height, the Low Joist provides excellent strength in a streamlined package, allowing a maximum recommended span of 1200mm. With bolt channels designed into the sides of the profile, fixing decking boards, brackets or pedestals is quick and easy for cost-effective installation. The Low Joist can also be installed on its side, which has been proved in load testing to allow a maximum span of up to 2000mm in that orientation.

Installation
Speed and ease of installation is essential to the success of your balcony project. The AliDeck Low Joist has been designed to integrate seamlessly with the AliDeck System and the bolt channels allow for quick installation times.
Safety
The AliDeck Low Joist is A2-s1, d0 fire-rated when coated (A1 when mill finish) and is fully-compliant with all applicable legislation.
Systemisation
The AliDeck Low Joist is custom engineered for compatibility with the entire range of AliDeck aluminium deck boards.
Construction
All AliDeck Joists are constructed from 100% aluminium (6063 T6 grade), up to 67% of which has been recycled to make these products eco-friendly.
Maintenance
Provided in mill-finish or powder-coated, zero maintenance beyond simple cleaning is required.
Warranty
The AliDeck System is supplied with a 30 year warranty against splitting, cracking, warping, splintering, rotting, twisting and material or manufacturing defects. It has a minimum 60 year life expectancy.
