Another day, another large delivery of freshly powder-coated aluminium decking stock at Rochester HQ
AliDeck has grown into a well-oiled machine. With sales continuing to skyrocket as our range rapidly becomes the go-to for aluminium balcony decking, our operations department has to work at peak efficiency in order to make sure that orders are fulfilled to our much-loved short lead times.
A large part of that is ensuring the continual flow of fresh stock between our extrusion and powder-coating facilities, and our production and despatch centres around the UK. In Rochester, Kent, our warehouse/factory is our base for bespoke cutting of orders, a service we’re happy to offer for a minimal cutting fee for customers who want to avoid cutting material on site.
Our transport partner’s brightly coloured lorries are a familiar sight as deliveries of new stock arrive to Rochester throughout the week. Today’s multi-ton load of aluminium decking stock is one of several large ingestions of material that have happened only this week. It’s a great sight to see all of this new stock dropped off and then the flatbed filled up again with cut material that’s destined to our customer’s site first thing tomorrow morning.
