New AliDeck Ultra Board now in stock, our extra-wide aluminium decking board

The demand for non-combustible decking boards is incredibly high and the forecasts suggest this will continue to grow over the foreseeable future. The current building safety crisis has specifiers scrambling to find compliant and fire-safe designs but fortunately we have a wide range of solutions capable of supporting the largest of projects, including our latest innovation the AliDeck Ultra Board.

The whole AliDeck team was pleased to see a large delivery of our new extra-wide aluminium decking board. This significant delivery of stock material of our new Ultra Board will allow us to support our customers and their project demands.

AliDeck are leading the way in product design, and many across the industry consider us to be setting the standards in aluminium balcony component design. As a trail-blazing innovator within the industry, the Ultra Board solution is testament to us listening to our customers who needed a quick-fit decking board that covered a larger footprint per boards.

As a result of this additional width, fewer individual boards are necessary to cover each balcony, resulting in a significantly shortened installation time. This extra-wide aluminium decking board also provides a further easy installation benefits with its 50mm wide fixing channel. This allows the use of lifting eyes to be placed within the fixing channel with all decking boards in-situ for craning the balcony into position on site, an absolute boon for our steel fabricator and balcony manufacturer customers.

As outlined in BS8579:2020, there are strict requirements for effective water management, so we designed the Ultra Board with a built-in drainage channel to capture and evacuate rainwater and spillages safely away from the surface and balconies below.

Designed for Steel Fabricators and balcony manufacturers especially, the AliDeck Ultra Board is ideal for new build projects. But this extra-wide aluminium decking board can be used across all new-build and remediation projects by any customer to unlock its benefits. Our latest innovation makes for a great addition to our Class A Decking range and will be ideal for contemporary decking balcony projects.
