Phase 1 New York Square, Leeds, completed by Axis Group, AliDeck proud to contribute decking system to balconies on this prestige development

AliDeck recently received word that Phase One at the prestigious New York Square development in Leeds had been completed. We were proud to be chosen as the supplier of aluminium decking boards for all balconies involved in the project and were delighted to hear of the excellent outcome from the project manager

Partnering with Axis Group, who were working on the project with main contractor Caddick Construction, the AliDeck aluminium decking was required to meet the specification of some rather unique and striking trapezoid balconies. Bespoke balcony shapes are no problem for our boards, though, as they are extremely versatile with angled and radius cuts perfectly achievable as long as the fixing channel in the centre of the board remains uncompromised.

Moda Living, the project’s developer, have achieved 515 beautiful new apartments across two 16-storey towers. The new leaseholders will be able to purchase on a rent-to-buy scheme, and the future-proof and fire-safe balconies will provide them many years of comfortable amenity. Residents will also have access to a 24-hour gym, a shared lounge, roof terraces, cinema room, games room and co-working spaces, so it looks like it’s going to be a great place to live! It was certainly a great project to work on with our friends at Axis!
