Non-combustible garden terrace decking installation is a cost-effective solution for developers and housebuilders

Aluminium decking has become the de facto standard flooring choice for balconies and terraces on high and medium-rise multi-occupancy buildings. The rise of extruded aluminium profiles as a construction material has been meteoric across the last few years.

A segment of the construction sector where there has been less uptake, however, is in single-unit housebuilding. This is to be expected given the nature of houses; there usually aren’t any balconies or roof-terraces on them that require decking! Recent conversations that the AliDeck team have had with representatives from major UK developers, though, might see that status quo soon begin to change.
