AliDeck to Partner with ISWUK & 8build on New Terrace Decking Project at 3 Sheldon Square in Paddington, London: Aluminium Decking Solutions

AliDeck is thrilled to announce a new project at 3 Sheldon Square in Paddington, London. The project will feature our innovative aluminium decking solutions, including the use of our Supa Joists and Jumbo Pedestal Brackets to create a subframe atop the lake steel structure. A 30mm Senior Ridged Board in in RAL 7039, along with Senior Drainage Channels and Senior Access Gutter, will be employed to establish an efficient water management system for the large terrace areas and planters.

The project, set to commence in the last week of October, will be carried out at 3 Sheldon Square in Paddington, London, for the prominent construction company 8build. This collaboration marks AliDeck’s inaugural partnership with 8build, following AliDeck Approved Installer, Interstellar Steel Works (ISWUK), winning the tender.

AliDeck Sales Manager, Louis Taylor, has been actively involved in site visits, job specifications, and overcoming various challenges, including drainage issues and the need to bridge large spans between proposed lake steel structures.

AliDeck’s aluminium decking and NHBC approved deck level drainage solutions will span across nine levels, covering the terrace areas and planters with their flawless design and functionality. For this project, it was imperative that AliDeck and ISW could work together to provide a cost-effective solution that guaranteed success for 8build.

Angle Trim and Nosing Profiles will provide a neat, aesthetically pleasing finish for all perimeter and stair edge finishes. Additionally, a custom box section and design input will allow for a removable 500mm section façade side, ensuring easy glass replacement if required across all levels.
