AliDeck partners with Wrightweld for walkway remediation project at Park View, Great Yarmouth | Fire-Safe Aluminium Decking Solutions

AliDeck was proud to partner with Wrightweld, a trusted steel fabrication and installation contractor, for the Park View walkway remediation project in Great Yarmouth. As the supplier of the Senior Ridged Board, Supa Joist, and Senior Access Gutter, AliDeck delivered a durable, fire-safe aluminium decking solution. Wrightweld expertly installed these innovative products, transforming a deteriorating walkway into a robust and fully compliant structure designed to withstand the harsh coastal environment.

At AliDeck, we design and supply premium non-combustible aluminium decking and drainage systems that prioritise safety, durability, and compliance. Our solutions meet Building Regulations and British Standards, including BS 8579:2020, and deliver a 60-year minimum life expectancy.

This project involved replacing ageing timber decking, which had deteriorated in the coastal environment, with a fully non-combustible aluminium alternative. Wrightweld installed AliDeck’s Senior Ridged Board, chosen for its slip-resistant, textured surface, alongside Supa Joist, providing a robust structural framework, and Senior Access Gutter, ensuring effective deck-level drainage.

The complete system not only improves safety and durability but also enhances aesthetics with a textured sand finish that is low-maintenance and ideal for high-traffic areas. These products ensure long-term performance while meeting stringent fire safety standards, including A2-s1, d0 and A2fl-s1 fire ratings.

AliDeck provided prefabricated components for the Park View project to minimise on-site labour and installation time. Custom cuts were also incorporated to meet the walkway’s specific design needs, ensuring a perfect fit and cost-effective execution.

The completed walkway is now fully compliant with modern building regulations, futureproofed for decades to come, and praised by all stakeholders for its safety, reliability, and attractive finish.
