Hadham Engineering partner with AliDeck on exciting multi-stage development project, Poplar Riverside, in London

It is with great pleasure that AliDeck will be partnering with Hadham Engineering on the exciting developments soon to begin at Poplar Riverside, located in East London. Berkeley Group, through a joint venture with St James & St William, is hoping to breathe new life into the site formerly used for gas storage.

AliDeck will be responsible for supplying 5800m2 in mixed 4m, 6m & custom extrusion lengths V1 Boards. In total, there will be 2000 balconies across the site, of which AliDeck’s range of non-combustible decking boards will create a futureproof and fire-safe environment for all residents.

The aim is to bring a grand total of 2,800 new homes, 643 new riverside Studios, one, two and three bedroom apartments. Additionally, the design incorporates additional green space and world-class public amenities for the benefit of local residents and the general public, which should help to transform Poplar into a new and unique East London neighbourhood.

Berkeley Group specialises in brownfield regeneration – regenerating underused land to create unique, environmentally friendly, and ecologically sound communities where people of all ages and backgrounds can thrive. The process will extend across a 10 year period through various phases, with completed sections planned to open each year.
