Roof Terrace Remediation with Lands UK Property Maintenance & British Land

We are delighted to announce our latest project, Kingdom Street—a roof terrace remediation in partnership with Lands UK Property Maintenance and British Land. This marks their first order with AliDeck, having seen our success at 3 Sheldon Square. Where we demonstrated the quality, safety, and reliability of our aluminium decking systems, we were the trusted choice to deliver a compliant, long-lasting solution—this time under tight time constraints.

This project is in central Paddington where the roof terrace has a sky bar and basketball court for the workers throughout this building. This site will involve the removal of deteriorating timber decking and the installation of AliDeck System 9, ensuring the roof terrace is safe, durable, and low maintenance. With our expertise in decking remediation and efficient project turnaround, we worked closely with Lands UK Property Maintenance to supply and deliver our decking system within strict deadlines, keeping the project on track and minimising disruption.

The existing timber decking had become unstable due to weathering, moisture absorption, and general wear, creating safety concerns and increasing maintenance demands. Timber, particularly in exposed locations like a roof terrace, can warp, rot, and become slippery, making it an unsuitable long-term solution.

To provide a future-proofed, compliant alternative, we are installing AliDeck System 9, which includes our Junior Board, Eco 50 Joist, and Adjustable Pedestals. This fire-rated, non-combustible system ensures the terrace remains safe, structurally sound, and resistant to weathering. With a 30-year warranty and a 60-year life expectancy, our aluminium decking solution eliminates the ongoing maintenance concerns of timber, providing long-term reliability.

As this was Lands UK Property Maintenance’s first project with AliDeck, we provided hands-on support throughout the process, ensuring a smooth and efficient delivery despite tight time constraints. Understanding the urgency of the project, we worked closely with our new partner to quickly supply the right decking solution, coordinating logistics and ensuring that our products arrived on time and ready for installation.
