Striking powder-coat finish applied to aluminium structure, RAL Design Maroon or Pink?

We hear a wide range of request from customers and our sister company, Milwood Group (the UK’s leading supplier of outdoors living systems), are no strangers to bespoke orders. Even the more experienced members in our teams, though, were fascinated by a striking project going through the AliDeck/Milwood production facility recently!

This funky shade of pink/maroon recently went through our powder-coat line and turned heads across the board. Initially coating the veranda components in a vivid pink, this bright pink calmed down significantly to a rather stylish maroon red once it had been cured through the powder-coating oven.

To meet the needs of architects, designers, and advertisers, RAL introduced a new colour-matching system in 1993 and the RAL Design collection includes 1,625 colours. In RAL Classic and RAL Design, there is no intersection of colours, the ranges are unique to each other. This special request saw use of an RAL Design 010 20 20, the first of its kind through our factory!

One of the many benefits of having all stages of the production process in-house is that we are able to easily accommodate special requests such as these. We offer 10 standard RAL colours for our AliDeck, AliClad, and AliRail ranges and can offer other colours as special orders on request.
