The Grenfell Tragedy four years on, remembering and reflecting

Today is the fourth anniversary of the terrible fire at Grenfell Tower that claimed the lives of 72 people. Our hearts go out to the families and loved ones of the victims.

While this unfathomable tragedy will never adequately be resolved and made right, it is important that we acknowledge the journey that industry has been on across these four years. Legislation and building regulations have undergone monumental change and shifted towards securing a fire safe future, with the hope being that a similar tragedy will not be able to happen again.

There is still much work to do, though, and a long way to go before true fire safety is achieved. We owe it to the memory of Grenfell to complete that journey and we must all play our part.
